Composition
Farafield began with a passion for writing music, which soon grew to writing for film and multimedia.
As composers, we feel it is important to be versatile in not only our listening, but also our writing, which has helped us create our unique musical voice. Our collaboration as a duo is also an important part of this, as each of us offers a different perspective on any given idea.
We have experience writing scores for short films, games and animation, our own compositions, as well as in bands. This includes Giulia Farag's solo piano EP, 'Avis', Liam Bloomfield's ambient EP, 'As If Through A Mirror', and a big band arrangement of Giulia Farag's 'Blue Morning'; all of which can be found in our Portfolio.
