Our Philosophy
At the core of Farafield is a deep passion for music. This passion is the most important thing we feel we can give to students.
Learning an instrument has been proven to enhance and enrich student’s academic ability, mental health and everyday life. As well as this, students learn important life skills, such as hard work, patience, perseverance, and setting and achieving goals. We believe music should be taught holistically, encompassing all of its aspects. Not just reading, but improvisation, composition and performance to develop creative musicians with their own unique voice. |
All students are individuals, therefore we take a tailored and creative approach to not just each student, but each lesson. Students get the most out of their lessons when they are interested and engaged by what they are learning. The best way to do this is by teaching through the student’s interests. By applying important concepts to music they enjoy, utilising technology, playing games and taking time to find the best way to teach each student, we aim to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
We currently offer lessons in Drums, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Audio Production. AMEB/ANZCA exams also available. Enquire below for prices and lesson availability. |
